Bio: Natalie Messina is a Canadian model, actress, red-carpet event host, fashion Editor-In-Chief, and Talent Agent based in Toronto. Since her career began in the fashion and film industry over 25 years ago, Messina has now officially been recognized with the Most Valuable Performance Award 2023 from Chaarmz Magazine.
As a young teenager, Messina was scouted by a modeling and acting school and competed in New York. By the age of 16, Messina worked as a fashion model in Japan and Hawaii for various magazines and fashion shows. Messina continued to work in runway and print as well as on film sets and music videos. During her first year in university, Messina started teaching modeling and acting courses in Canada and the United States and mentored new faces in Hollywood.
Currently, Messina is the Editor-In-Chief of Chaarmz Magazine – a publication based in Toronto, Miami and Los Angeles. She is also a Talent Director at Chaarmz Talent and has booked talent for print work, music videos and television shows. Messina hosts celebrity VIP red carpet events and is the International Competition Coordinator for the Vanguard, Canada’s Most Exciting Night in International Fashion and Arts.
Messina brings two decades of senior leadership experience with well-known organizations. Her expertise includes formulating change management strategies, identifying key drivers and performance indicators to success, creating customized solutions, and developing roadmaps and tactics to enable teams.
Messina has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Science from McMaster University and has worked in corporate governance and strategic measurement for the past 20 years. Messina is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, a Certified Excellence Professional, and has a Master Certificate in the Management of Mental Health and Psychological Safety from Excellence Canada.
Messina’s hands-on experience cuts across many areas of business, from the development of enterprise-wide data governance strategies and analytics – including multi-year business plans – fueling creative solutions that enhance management effectiveness and engage stakeholders in the technical and people sides of every change.
Messina was an event host for the Black Diamond Ball where she developed data management strategies through survey development and analysis. She also worked on set with Mya, Keri Hilson and Tank and then traveled to the Caribbean for Barbados Fashion Week 2019.
During the summer of 2022, Messina traveled to Los Angeles, California to work on set with Kathy Ireland for the cover feature editorial for Chaarmz Magazine. Messina was quickly inspired to become an entrepreneur herself and start her own company. Exactly one year later, she is now the Founder and CEO of Natalie Messina Worldwide which provides professional and technical services across the world.
