Resilience, to me, is the ability to adapt and rebound from challenges, setbacks, and adversity. Despite enduring numerous trials, I’ve consistently maintained my psychological well-being and effectively navigated difficulties. Even when my spirits were low, I persisted in pulling myself back up.
Let me share a brief story. Over eight years after my marriage in 2001, I faced infertility, enduring eight miscarriages, including 2 twins’ miscarriages from IVF. Eventually, I welcomed my son naturally, and five years later, my daughter. Between their births, I experienced two more miscarriages, one at 25 weeks and 5 days, necessitating the painful process of giving birth, naming, and burying the child. These experiences, though in the past, deeply shape my journey.
For years, my dream of becoming an entrepreneur faced obstacles. Despite criticism for investing time and money in property training post-childbirth, my determination prevailed. Today, these experiences fuel my commitment to achieving both personal and business goals. I am grateful for life and thank God for mercy.
My approach to continuous self-development involves setting clear goals, carving out time to reflect regularly, and embracing a growth mindset. I actively seek new challenges, learn from failures, and remain open to feedback.
