1. Can you walk us through the pivotal moments in your journey that led you to become a prominent figure in the fashion industry, breaking stereotypes and advocating for diversity?
My journey has been marked by resilience and a relentless pursuit of authenticity. From overcoming near-death experiences, facing a period of homelessness, to challenging conventional norms as the first openly pansexual International Mrs USA(2022), and spearheading the Compassionate Leadership Project, every step has shaped my commitment to inclusivity. As the visionary behind Artlovelifestyle Magazine and Artlovelifestyle Attire, I’m dedicated to reshaping beauty standards and amplifying underrepresented voices in fashion and beyond.
2. As the CEO & Editor-in-Chief of Artlovelifestyle Magazine and designer of Artlovelifestyle Attire, how do you envision your platform contributing to the expansion of beauty standards and the elevation of underrepresented voices in the fashion world?
Artlovelifestyle is more than a magazine or a fashion line—it’s a movement. Through our platform, we celebrate diversity and authenticity, challenging the status quo and providing a space for marginalized voices to be heard. Artlovelifestyle Attire embodies sustainability and inclusivity, setting a new standard for the fashion industry.
3. Your coaching spans various areas, from modeling to personal development. How do you approach coaching to empower individuals and foster authentic leadership, particularly in industries like pageantry and fashion?
My coaching philosophy is rooted in Compassionate Leadership, self-discovery, and empowerment. Whether it’s runway coaching or personal development, I strive to cultivate confidence and authenticity in every individual I work with. In industries like pageantry and fashion, where standards can be rigid, I encourage my clients to embrace their uniqueness and lead with authenticity.
4. Your achievements, from gracing magazine covers to being recognized as a top woman leader, are impressive. How do you see these accolades playing a role in furthering your mission of promoting diversity and inclusion?
Every accolade is a testament to the power of authenticity and resilience. As a visible figure in the industry, I have a responsibility to use my platform to not only advocate for diversity and inclusion but to leverage what I have to make as great an impact as possible. This is illustrated throughout True Beauty Photoshoots, Cover Contests, NYFW, and Awards. Each recognition reinforces our mission at Artlovelifestyle to challenge beauty standards and elevate underrepresented voices.
5. Competing as Maine’s World Top Model during NYFW and making the top 10 finals was a significant moment. What are your aspirations for this competition, and how do you plan to use this platform to inspire change within the world of modeling and fashion?
Competing in the World Top Model Competition is an opportunity to redefine beauty standards, inspire change, and to share this mission in front if a panel of industry judges. I aim to use this platform to showcase the diversity and authenticity that makes our industry truly beautiful and make people question what True Beauty means to them while highlighting the beauty of compassion, diversity, authenticity, and resilience. Through my journey, I hope to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness and challenge traditional norms.
